Xtacy Lagos
Nightclub Booking & Event Management Platform
A nightclub in Oregun, Ikeja needed more than a website. Guests were reserving tables over WhatsApp and Instagram DMs, and nobody could say how many spots were left until the door. We built one platform that is the club's public face, its reservation system and its gallery — running live every weekend for the past year.

Live — ongoing maintenance
Xtacy opened in 2025 with a clear idea of the night it wanted to sell — Afrobeats, Amapiano, EDM and Hip-Hop, resident and guest DJs, and a room that feels like an occasion. What it did not have was a way to run the business side of that. Reservations came in through Instagram and WhatsApp. Photos from the best nights sat on phones. A first-time visitor searching for the club found almost nothing that answered "Is this my kind of place?" The brief was to build one system that solved all three at once: sell the experience, take the bookings, and give the club a way to publish its own nights without calling a developer.

What we built
We built a single Laravel web application that works as the club's website, its reservation system and its media library. The public side leads with video, because a nightclub sells atmosphere before it sells anything else. Below that sit the four recurring weekly nights — Sultry Tuesdays, Freaky Fridays, After Dark on Saturdays, and Xtacy Unleashed on Sundays — each with its own booking page, alongside one-off events like The X Social and the Blue Heat Denim Party. Reservations run through a short, deliberate flow. A guest books with just a name and an email, or signs in with Google to keep their history. Every booking returns a reference the guest can use later to look their reservation up, change it or cancel it, without going through the club at all. Behind it, the club's staff manage everything themselves: publish an event, set its capacity, watch spots go down in real time, and upload the weekend's photos and videos to the gallery on Monday morning.

The outcome
The platform has been live and taking reservations every week for close to a year. Four recurring weekly nights run through it, alongside one-off events, and the club has published more than 110 photos and videos to its own gallery without developer involvement. We continue to maintain and extend the system, with changes driven by what the door staff and the guests actually run into.
